Jorginho was impressed by “devastating” England counter-attacks in the 1-1 draw with Italy and the Premier League target confessed to liking the country too.
The Brazil-born Italy international spoke exclusively to Football Italia after a friendly stalemate in London, where Lorenzo Insigne’s penalty cancelled out a Jamie Vardy opener.
“It was a good game. A difficult game, certainly, against a strong side that had remarkable physical strength and could attack the spaces with real pace and were devastating on the counter-attack,” the Italy and Napoli midfielder told Football Italia at Wembley Stadium.
“I think we put in a strong performance overall and a good result.”
Considering all the speculation about a Premier League move with Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal interested, we asked Jorginho if he liked England.
“Yes, very much!”
