Udinese Coach Massimo Oddo laments his side’s current injury problems and warns they will have ‘to suffer’ against Atalanta.

The Bianconeri are without several first team players as they prepare to face La Dea, with Icelandic international Emil Hallfredsson the latest to be ruled out of action.

With Oddo’s side on a run of five consecutive Serie A defeats, the former Milan defender admitted all he can do is to try his best with the resources he has at his disposal.

With Oddo’s side on a run of five consecutive Serie A defeats, the former Milan defender admitted all he can do is to try his best with the resources he has at his disposal.

“Unfortunately you get these periods in football,” the ex-Pescara Coach told a Press conference.

“There’s nothing we can do other than do the best we can with the players I have available.

“We are still going into this very difficult match in the hope we can do something good.

“Hallfredsson isn’t included because he has a knee problem. He has been living with it for a while and unfortunately it has shown itself now.

“I want to see a united team who will suffer. Against Atalanta we will suffer a lot.

“The boys know they are facing a team who attack a lot, we will have to fight for every ball.

“I want to see that desire again to not concede goals that we had at the start.”
