Napoli kept the Scudetto race alive with an incredible comeback, from 0-1 at the 89th minute to beat Chievo 2-1 after Dries Mertens’ penalty was saved.

The Partenopei needed a victory to stay within four points of leaders Juventus, who won 4-2 at Benevento yesterday, but brought in Lorenzo Tonelli and Amadou Diawara to replace suspended Raul Albiol and Jorginho.

It was an extraordinary game, as Stefano Sorrentino parried everything coming his way, including a Mertens penalty.

Arkadiusz Milik came off the bench and in the final minute got on the end of Lorenzo Insigne’s assist for a looping header under the bar.

It still wasn’t over, as deep into stoppages Diawara got a rare goal with a dramatic right-foot curler.
