Andrea Pirlo has named his best opponents and teammates, ahead of his farewell match next month.

The legendary midfielder retired from football at the end of last year, but he’ll have a final send-off at San Siro on May 21.

Today he held a Press conference to present the game, which ended with a Q&A about the best players he played with and against.

“My technically strongest teammate was Ronaldinho,” Pirlo explained.

“The nicest? [Alessandro] Nesta. The craziest was [Antonio] Cassano.

“The one who made the best of what he had? [Gennaro] Gattuso.

“A game I’d erase? The [Champions League] final in Istanbul [against Liverpool in 2005].

“The best? The World Cup final.”
