De Laurentiis also revealed that, contrary to many leading clubs around Europe, Napoli would not be involved in any pre-season tournaments during the summer.

De Laurentiis also revealed that, contrary to many leading clubs around Europe, Napoli would not be involved in any pre-season tournaments during the summer.
“There won’t be any tournaments,” De Laurentiis commented. “For now, we have organised a friendly with Liverpool in Dublin on 4 August.”
The Reds will be familiar to followers of Italian football by the time they face the Azzurri.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are, of course, set to take on Roma in the Champions League semi-finals in the coming weeks.
