Spalletti: ‘Expect more from Inter’

Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti admits “I expect something more” against Cagliari tonight.

The Nerazzurri are pushing for a top four place, but haven’t scored in their last three games, missing the chance to re-enter the Champions League places.

“All games are difficult at this point of the season,” Spalletti told Premium Sport.

“For our position in the table or for theirs it’ll be a complicated game which will take character and technical quality.

“We need to fight for every ball, I expect something more, we have to improve but I think we’ve had some good performances.

“Roma? If you look at the fixture list and who they still have to play then you’d have to say they’re probably the ones with a slight advantage, but they’ve still got to play Juventus.

“As for Mauro Icardi, I expect everyone to give everything they have to give until the end and put it at the disposal of the team.

“He’s already made a crucial contribution and he’ll perfect that in these last six games.”
