Cagliari have presented plans for their new stadium project, which should cost €60m and be completed in 2021.
A statement from the club confirmed the design put forward by Sportium has been chosen after a vote with two other plans in the running.
“Before the formal assignment of the task, a necessary phase of in-depth analysis with the chosen group now begins, aimed at defining all the contractual and operational aspects.”

The projects were presented at the Sardegna Arena, their current temporary home, and questionnaires filled out by supporters.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, this stadium will have 25,000 seats, including a 72-room hotel with pool by the sea.
The overall cost should be €60m, with completion planned by 2021.
