Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco and Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri are among several tacticians linked with the Chelsea job in England.
According to the Daily Telegraph, patron Roman Abramovich is looking at several different profiles to replace Antonio Conte next term.
That list includes two Italians currently impressing in Serie A.
Sarri is not a new link to Stamford Bridge, as his style of football has been admired by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
Di Francesco has now entered the fray as well, according to the paper, having taken Roma to the Champions League semi-final against Liverpool.
They got there by topping the group ahead of Chelsea – who they demolished 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico – and Atletico Madrid before disposing of Shakhtar Donetsk and Barcelona.
This is Di Francesco’s debut season both at Roma and in the Champions League, having previously been in the Europa League with minnows Sassuolo.
