Roma striker Gregoire Defrel has reportedly undergone surgery to rectify a long-standing knee problem.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the decision was taken as Defrel’s knee would heal around the same time as his ankle, which pulled up only last week.
The Frenchman has been struggling with knee issues for the past year, even before his arrival from Sassuolo in July 2017.
