It was confirmed on Monday that Qatar Airways, previously tied to Roma’s Champions League victims Barcelona, would adorn the Giallorossi’s shirts until the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The deal was also described as ‘one of the biggest ever’ by an Italian club, and Calcio e Finanze claims the Lupi are in line to pocket €40m plus bonuses from the airline.

Roma later announced that the sponsor would start being used in their next match – the Champions League semi-final first leg against Liverpool.
