The lawyer who worked on the Amin Younes transfer confirms “Younes is a Napoli player”.
The Ajax winger arrived in Naples in January to sign for the Partenopei, but the deal was delayed to the summer when his contract expires.
“It’s Napoli who hold the sporting rights of Amin Younes,” Mario De Rossi, a lawyer from the player’s camp in the negotiations told CalcioNapoli24.
“Only his agent Nicola Innocentin can speak and represents the player. There are contracts correctly signed.
“It’s not a matter of expressing opinions, these are objective facts: Younes is a Napoli player.
“Maybe the player got carried away for a moment and said something wrong, all the rest is bar chat which I don’t even know how to comment on.
“Other clubs? They’d have to sit down with Napoli and Innocentin to buy Younes. If not they’d face heavy penalties, transfer bans and more.
“I want to reassure the Azzurri fans, Younes is a Napoli player. There were 31 signatures at different times, I find it difficult to respond to some baseless statements.
“Napoli’s lawyer, Mattia Grassiani, clarified everything. The people close to Younes can peddle any type of rumour.”
