The agent of Napoli midfielder Jorginho admits speaking to “four or five clubs” but “that doesn’t mean anything is done or that he’ll leave”.
The Italian international is a key part of Maurizio Sarri’s side, and has been attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.
For obvious reasons, the Partenopei would like to tie him to a new contract but there will be no discussions until the summer.
“We’ll talk about it at the end of the season, not least because there are four games to go and we don’t want to disturb anything right now,” Joao Santos confirmed on Radio Marte.
“Given the way Jorginho has played this season, and his work with the Italian national team, it’s normal that there are important teams following him.
“But if I speak with four or five teams who like Jorginho, that doesn’t mean anything is done or that he’ll leave.”
