Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to make a huge offer for Milan and Portugal striker Andre Silva, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The forward’s agent is Jorge Mendes, who has strong links with Wolves and believes the Premier League would be better suited to his characteristics.

The 22-year-old was signed from FC Porto last summer for €38m, but has not lived up to expectations.

He scored 10 goals with two assists in 39 competitive games, but only two of those were in Serie A and he has not received regular playing time.

Andre Silva is currently third behind Patrick Cutrone and Nikola Kalinic in the pecking order and seems to struggle against Italian defences.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Wolves are ready to break the bank following their promotion to the Premier League.
