Gazzetta dello Sport report that Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are interested in securing the signing of Sampdoria’s Duvan Zapata.

The Colombian forward has enjoyed a fine first season at Marassi, contributing 11 goals and six assists to his team’s cause.

Although he is on loan this campaign at the Luigi Ferraris, Samp have an obligation to sign him outright from Napoli in the summer.

However, the Italian daily claim this will not stop Atletico or Dortmund from pursuing their target.

The German club in particular are known to be keen on recruiting a forward during the close-season, having sold Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Arsenal in January.

It is thought that a fee of around €30m would be needed in order to convince Samp President Massimo Ferrero to do business.
