Manchester United are reviving their bid for Juventus left-back Alex Sandro and the cost is €60m, claims the Sunday Times.

The Brazilian has long been targeted by Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Chelsea.

It’s reported today that Jose Mourinho specifically named the 27-year-old as his ideal reinforcement for the summer.

Alex Sandro was signed from FC Porto in 2015 for €26m, which at the time was considered very steep for a player not particularly well-known.

However, his price-tag has sky-rocketed over the last couple of years.

This has not been his best season, but Alex Sandro can play at left-back, on the left side of midfield or even as part of a trident attack.

As Juventus have made no secret of their interest in Matteo Darmian, it’s possible Manchester United will use that as part of a swap deal for Alex Sandro.
