Fiorentina have made an approach for rarely-used Inter full-back Davide Santon, claims La Repubblica newspaper.
The 27-year-old is under contract until June 2019, but is expected to leave this summer due to a lack of playing time.
He had just 15 Serie A appearances this term, most of them off the bench.
According to La Repubblica, Fiorentina are interested in signing Santon and have access to him via his agent, who is friends with Viola director general Pantaleo Corvino.
Inter paid €3.7m to sign their youth product Santon from Newcastle United in 2015, just four years after he was sold to the Magpies.
