Gigi Di Biagio named his squad for the Italy Under-21 friendlies against Portugal and France, including Patrick Cutrone and Enrico Brignola.

The Azzurrini visit Portugal in Estoril on May 25 and play France at the Stade Leo Lagrange in Besancon on May 29.

Di Biagio returns to the Under-21 side after his caretaker role for the senior squad, having handed over to Roberto Mancini.

He gave the first call-ups to Ternana goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzari, Empoli defender Sebastiano Luperto and Benevento winger Enrico Brignola.
