Napoli captain Marek Hamsik confirms “maybe now is the time when our paths will diverge”, amid rumours of a move to China.
The Slovakian midfielder’s father revealed today that his son is considering offers from the Far East, and is likely to move on.
Any deal may have to wait until the winter, but now the player himself has confirmed that he’s thinking of leaving.
“We believed we could finally get the Scudetto this year,” Hamsik told Pravda.
“I’m disappointed that we missed out on the title again. I’m sorry, because our great fans deserve this triumph, and I thank them for their great support.
“I’ve spent all this time here, giving all my strength. Maybe now is the time when our paths will diverge, I’d like to try something new.”
