Wednesday’s Corriere dello Sport leaked an excerpt from a purported conversation between De Laurentiis and a ‘friend’, which revealed frustration on the President’s part.
“I closed a deal with Ancelotti and I won’t wait for Sarri anymore. I’ve already waited a long time,” he is quoted as saying by the newspaper.
