Bologna have officially confirmed the signing of Ajax left-back Mitchell Dijks on a five-year contract.
The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan with Norwich City, before returning to the Netherlands this season.
It was rumoured as early as February that he’d join the Rossoblu at the end of his contract, and that has been officially confirmed today.
“Bologna FC 1909 announces the registration of the defender Mitchell Dijks,” a statement on the club’s website confirms.

“He has signed a contract until June 30 2023.”
The Dutch Under-21 interntional also spoke to the website.
