The former striker left Venezia after they lost in the Serie B promotion play-offs, having taken them up from Serie C.
Super Pippo started his coaching career at Milan, working with the Primavera squad before taking over the top job for the 2014-15 season.

“Bologna FC 1909 announces that Filippo Inzaghi has been entrusted with the technical guidance of the first team, he has signed a contract until 30 June 2022,” a statement begins.
“The presentation of the new Coach is scheduled for 11am in the Press room of Stadio Dall’Ara.”
Inzaghi will be up against his brother Simone next season, with the younger Inzaghi in charge of Lazio.
