The Lega Serie B has officially confirmed that this weekend’s promotion play-offs have been moved back by a week.

Bari were due to play Cittadella in a one-off match on Saturday, with Perugia travelling to Venezia the following day.

However, the FIGC could deduct Bari two points tomorrow for irregular payment of their players.

That would mean they finished below Cittadella in the table, meaning that Citta should have home advantage for the play-off.

Any appeal would be heard next week, so the Lega Serie B has decided to move both games to Sunday June 3.

The first legs of the semi-finals will be played on Wednesday June 6, with the return games on June 10.

The two-legged final will be played on Wednesday June 13 and Saturday June 6.

Both Palermo and Frosinone will enter at the semi-final stage.
