“It wasn’t easy to pick the team up after we set a Serie A points record, but it’s turned out to be a winning choice.

“Totti? Our first season without him was complicated. Not seeing him on the pitch anymore was a shock for both us and the fans.

“Alisson? Initially I wondered why we spent €10-12m on a goalkeeper if we already had Szczesny.

“However, I soon realised that Alisson was a phenomenon and cares for Roma. Pallotta? I see in him the desire to create something important.

“He became No 1 in his work and I hope he continues to strengthen the team because everyone here deserves a trophy.

“Scudetto? We want to bother Juve all the way and maybe snatc the Scudetto from under their noses!”
