Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner is reportedly in talks over a free transfer to Arsenal.
According to The Guardian via renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Lichtsteiner could become the first signing made by new Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
The veteran will end his seven-year spell with Juve this summer, given his contract expires on June 30, but not before captaining Switzerland at the World Cup.
He had been previously linked with Borussia Dortmund, but the Germans are said to have switched their attentions to Sassuolo’s Pol Lirola.
