Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti is pushing the club to sign Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa, according to reports.

The Nerazzurri have qualified for next season’s Champions League, and have already signed Lautaro Martinez, Stefan de Vrij and Kwadwo Asamoah for next season.

This morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Coach wants at least another two top signings, though they’ll have to come after June 30, the date by which the club has to meet its Financial Fair Play targets.

Spalletti sees a new winger as crucial, and is said to be “crazy” about Fiorentina winger Chiesa, who he sees as one of the future stars of Italian football.

A deal will be impossible if the Viola stick to their €60m valuation, but the Beneamata will still try to sign him.

Inter can offer Champions League football and a guarantee of plenty of playing time, so they hope Chiesa’s will could swing things in their favour.

Spalletti also wants a top player in midfield and has set his sights on Moussa Dembélé of Tottenham Hotspur.

Here too though the negation is difficult, as Napoli are also interested in the Belgian international and Spurs may not want to sell.
