Sampdoria are interested in outcast Hamburger SV midfielder Walace as a replacement for Lucas Torreira.
There are reports Uruguay international Torreira is close to a move to Napoli this summer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Samp have their eyes set on 23-year-old Brazilian Walace.
The asking price is in the region of €10m and he had already been linked with Lazio last year.
He was frozen out of the Hamburger SV squad as punishment for poor discipline and ‘misconduct’ towards the club and teammates in March.
