Boca Juniors are reportedly abandoning negotiations with Milan for Gustavo Gomez after the defender demanded more money.

The talks have been dragging on for many months and a breakthrough was expected this summer.

However, TyC Sports in Argentina claim that Gomez requested better personal terms than were being offered to him.

This irritated Boca President Daniel Angelici, who then called off his planned trip to Italy.

The 25-year-old Paraguay international was signed in the summer of 2016 for €8.5m, but made no impact at Milan.
