Reports in Spain insist Napoli have agreed a €25m deal for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno and prefer him to Rui Patricio.
With Pepe Reina’s contract expiring this month his move to Milan already worked out, the Partenopei need a replacement.
Last week, it had seemed as if Rui Patricio would be the one taking over, especially after suing to terminate his contract with Sporting CP due to an attack from masked thugs at their training ground.
However, Sport.es claim new Napoli Coach Carlo Ancelotti prefers Leno to Rui Patricio and the club has instead clinched a deal for the German.
Bayer Leverkusen are to pocket €25m and the goalkeeper already agreed personal terms last week.
