“It’s a special night for Insigne, as there aren’t many players who get to be captain on their birthday,” Mancini told Rai Sport.

“It’s a special night for Insigne, as there aren’t many players who get to be captain on their birthday,” Mancini told Rai Sport.

“I hope it’ll bring him good luck and perhaps he could score a few goals to celebrate.”

This is Mancini’s third game on the Azzurri bench after a 2-1 win over Saudi Arabia and 3-1 defeat to France.

“We must play to attack and to win, even if that means running a few risks at the back, the way we did against France. As time wears on, we’ll whittle down some of those errors, but the approach is right.”
