Reports in France state Napoli are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain’s Javier Pastore, but he’d need to take a big wage cut.

The French champions will have to sell some of their stars to comply with Financial Fair Play, having spent €222m on Neymar last summer and committed to €180m on Kylian Mbappé this year.

According to Le Parisien, only those two players and Edinson Cavani are considered unsellable this summer.

PSG would consider selling Marco Verratti were the right offer to arrive, with Manchester United said to be willing to pay €115m.

Juventus have been linked in the past, but the report makes no mention of Bianconeri interest this time and it’s highly unlikely they’d meet that price.

Adrien Rabiot could also be sold if he doesn’t sign a new contract.

In addition, Le Parisien reports, former Palermo attacking midfielder Javier Pastore is in talks with West Ham United and Napoli.

However, he earns around €9m gross per season, and neither club is willing to match that.

The Argentine will therefore have to take a wage cut to leave the Parc des Princes.
