“Ajax and Roma haven’t yet reached an agreement,” Raiola told RTL Nederland.

“The matter won’t be concluded today, for the moment there is nothing definitive.”

However, negotiations are at an advanced stage and even the player’s father – ex-Milan striker Patrick Kluivert – is backing the Serie A transfer.

“I would prefer if Justin stayed at Ajax for another year, but it depends on him and as his father I accept any decision he makes,” the Dutch legend told Goal.

“Roma would be a good opportunity for him, but I’d prefer he stay in Amsterdam for one more year and then go abroad.”
