Inter have joined Roma in negotiations for Sporting CP right-back Cristiano Piccini, who is valued at €15-20m.
The Giallorossi had already been linked with the 25-year-old Italian by Portuguese paper O Jogo, who claimed an offer of €10m plus €5m in bonuses was ready.
Now Tuttosport suggest Inter are in the running too and are prepared to increase the proposal to €15m plus bonuses.
Piccini came up through the Fiorentina youth academy and also had spells at Spezia, Livorno and Real Betis before joining Sporting Lisbon last summer.
He played 40 competitive games this season, contributing three assists.
