West Ham United today made the first formal offer for Felipe Anderson, but Lazio rejected €20m plus bonuses, it’s reported.
Sky Sport Italia claim the negotiations of the last few days prompted an initial bid faxed to the Biancocelesti.
It is said to be €20m plus bonuses, but that is far below the asking price of at least €40m, preferably €50m.
These are early days, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito drives a very hard bargain and said he turned down €50m offers for the Brazilian in the past.
He is also aiming to squeeze well over €100m out of Manchester United or Juventus for midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
