Napoli are resuming their efforts to sign Torino goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, offering Luigi Sepe as part of an exchange deal.

According to Mediaset Premium, Carlo Ancelotti is still eager to reunite with former Paris Saint-Germain shot-stopper Sirigu at the Stadio San Paolo.

The 31-year-old returned to Italy last summer, having left for PSG in 2011.

He would bring the necessary experience to replace Pepe Reina, who has left at the end of his contract for a new adventure at Milan.

Sirigu would also be considerably cheaper than the alternatives, such as Bernd Leno, while Rui Patricio is on the verge of a transfer to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Napoli can further lower the price-tag by including their current second choice Sepe as part of an exchange.
