Reports suggest Lazio want to use the money from selling Felipe Anderson to West Ham to finance a move for Sassuolo’s Matteo Politano.

The Brazilian has been linked with a summer move to the Hammers, with a deal possible for around €40m.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that part of that money would be used to get Politano as a replacement, if the Anderson deal goes ahead.

The Neroverdi demanded around €27m from Napoli in January, with the deal collapsing at the last minute.

The Aquile would look to do a double deal which would also include Francesco Acerbi, offering cash plus at least one player.

The most likely counterpart would be Danilo Cataldi, who spent last season on loan at Benevento under Roberto De Zerbi.

De Zerbi is expected to be the new Sassuolo Coach, replacing Beppe Iachini.
