Inter’s CEO assures “there’s nothing to worry about” in regard to Mauro Icardi, and “we’re not thinking about selling someone to respect Financial Fair Play”.
The Nerazzurri must break even by June 30, and there has been talk that their captain could be sacrificed to ensure that happens.
“There’s nothing to worry about for Icardi,” Alessandro Antonello insisted, speaking to reporters in Milan.
“He’s our player and our captain, in the coming weeks we’ll discuss a possible renewal.
“FFP? There’s optimism, we’re focused on this objective which we need to achieve by June 30. We’re working in that direction, we think we’ll be able to achieve our objective.
“We’re not thinking of selling anyone to respect Financial Fair Play, we’re thinking of building a competitive team.”
