Galatasaray President Mustafa Cengiz complained Inter “asked for almost double what we offered” for Yuto Nagatomo.
The full-back spent the last six months on loan in Istanbul and has said repeatedly he wants to make the move permanent.
It’s reported Galatasaray offered €2.8m, whereas the Nerazzurri are demanding €4.5m.
“The offer we made for Nagatomo is the highest that we can make,” Galatasaray President Cengiz said.
“Inter listened to us, but asked for almost double what we offered. They are doing something really disappointing and now we have to wait for their response.
“Nagatomo has made it clear he wants to play for Galatasaray.”
