Napoli could request veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech on loan from Arsenal, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper.
The 36-year-old is another name on the growing list of potential goalkeepers for the Stadio San Paolo.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis named PSG shot-stopper Alphonse Areola, Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas and Alex Meret of Udinese as targets in a wide-ranging interview with the Corriere dello Sport today.
New boss Carlo Ancelotti already worked with Cech at Stamford Bridge and reports of a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Bernd Leno risks pushing him on to the bench.
Cech has been in England – and London – since 2004 for Chelsea, joining the Gunners for €14m in 2015.
