According to the Corriere dello Sport, new Coach Julen Lopetegui has his sights set firmly on reinforcements from the Stadio Olimpico.

The interest in Alisson was already well known and an initial offer of €55m plus €5m in performance-related bonuses was rejected.

With Liverpool and potentially also Chelsea in the bidding war and the World Cup to be played, Roma want to get €80m for the 25-year-old shot-stopper.

Lopetegui has now reportedly told Real Madrid to step up negotiations for Milinkovic-Savic, whose price-tag could soar even further during Serbia’s time in Russia.

Juventus and Manchester United are also in the running, but Milinkovic-Savic confessed to being a lifelong Real Madrid supporter.

The main issue is that Lazio have set an asking price of €150m for the 23-year-old, though it’s not beyond the realms of possibility for the Merengues.

Meanwhile, Il Messaggero newspaper suggests Milinkovic-Savic is in no rush to leave Lazio, as he just shelled out almost €1m on a new villa that is right near their Formello training ground.
