According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and others, the breakthrough for Nainggolan could come with two Inter youth team players.

Zaniolo was already mentioned, but striker Pinamonti is also a candidate to help bridge the gap between demand and offer.

Centre-forward Pinamonti just turned 19 last month, but has already played in Serie A for the senior team.

Zaniolo will be 19 in July and the creative midfielder is the leader of the successful Inter Primavera side, scoring 14 goals with 11 assists in 35 games this season.

It’s possible Roma want these two players so they can be used in other transfer deals, for example with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi.
