“I hope he joins Roma,” Juventus defender Benatia told reporters at the 2018 World Cup after Morocco’s defeat to Portugal.

“I know that Roma are considering Ziyech. He is a great player with incredible quality. I told him that Roma is a special club where he can do well, their fans are great and very passionate.”
Ziyech scored nine goals with 18 assists in 39 competitive games for Ajax this season.
Benatia knows the Roma atmosphere well, as he played at the Stadio Olimpico in 2013-14.
