Chelsea could be prepared to meet the Juventus asking price of €35-40m for defender Daniele Rugani, it’s reported.
It’s no secret that Rugani is a favourite of Coach Maurizio Sarri, who already worked with him at Empoli, and he tried to sign him repeatedly at Napoli.
According to Calcionews24.com, the Stamford Bridge side are ready to pay €35m plus bonuses to get the centre-back.
He turns 24 next month and is considered the future of the Italy back line along with Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli.
Rugani is eager to make the transfer, because he received precious little playing time under Juve Coach Max Allegri.
This season, he had 26 competitive games, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
