PSV have officially appointed former Milan midfielder Mark van Bommel as their new Coach.

Van Bommel has signed a three-year contract with PSV and replaces Phillip Cocu, who left to take charge of Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

The Dutchman made 50 appearances for Milan between 2011 and 2012, helping the Rossoneri win their last Scudetto.

He also turned out for the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich, as well as playing 79 times for his country, including during their run to the 2010 World Cup Final.
