RB Leipzig are ready to offer €30m including bonuses to bring Milan left-winger Hakan Calhanoglu back to the Bundesliga.
The 24-year-old was signed from Bayer Leverkusen a year ago for €24m and impressed in his first San Siro season.
He contributed eight goals and 13 assists in 45 competitive games, but Financial Fair Play considerations could force a sale.
According to the Corriere dello Sport newspaper, Red Bull Leipzig are leaping into action with a proposal worth €30m including various performance-related bonuses.
The player would be given a contract with wages for €3m per year.
RB Leipzig had already tried to approach Calhanoglu in January.
