Roma sporting director Monchi has given Alessandro Florenzi an ultimatum on his contract renewal, according to reports.

The Italian international is out of contract next summer, but so far has not signed a new deal with his boyhood club.

Inter and Atletico Madrid are monitoring the situation, but it’s thought the versatile 27-year-old is giving priority to the Giallorossi.

At the same time, he and his entourage are using the interest to try and raise his salary, and today’s Corriere della Sera reports he’s been given an ultimatum.

The Lupi are offering €3m plus bonuses while Florenzi wants at least €4m plus guarantees on how he’ll be utilised next season.

Now though Monchi has given Florenzi until the end of the week in a ‘take it or leave it’ ultimatum, the newspaper reports.
