Former CSKA Moscow boss Valeri Gazzaev claims Juventus target Aleksandr Golovin ‘has already signed a contract with Chelsea’.
Links between Golovin and Juve have cooled as speculation intensifies that the Russian starlet is close to Chelsea, and Gazzaev – who won the Europa League with CSKA in 2005 – believes he has already agreed to join the Blues.
“Golovín will decide where the best place for him is,” he was quoted as saying by Sport.
“As far as I know, he’s already signed a contract with Chelsea. I think they’re a good option for him.
“It’s a big responsibility for him, but one that he’s prepared for.”
However, that was followed by a rebuttal from his agent Oleg Artemov, who is cited by ItaSportPress as affirming: “He hasn’t signed for any European clubs. Negotiations are under way, but for now Aleksandr remains a CSKA player.”
