President Florentino Perez is definitely targeting Hazard from Chelsea, and the on-going uncertainty over who the new Coach will be isn’t helping the situation.

That must be postponed until after the World Cup, as Hazard and Belgium have reached the semi-finals against France and will play at least the third-place final.

As for the other addition, Italian television channel Sportitalia suggest it’s a choice between Inter hitman Icardi or Poland’s Lewandowski.

Icardi would be relatively simple to achieve, because the Argentina international has a release clause in his contract worth €110m.

It is valid only for clubs outside Italy, however, it expires on July 15, so would have to be done relatively quickly.

Another option is Lewandowski, who has already stated he would like a new experience after dominating German football with Bayern Munich.
