Napoli target Stanislav Lobotka has demanded a transfer, confirmed Celta Vigo. “He has decided not to stay with us.”
The 23-year-old Slovakia international only signed a new deal in February and is under contract until June 2023.
However, he has a €35m release clause in his contract and seems determined to walk away.
“There are some offers for Lobotka, he has decided not to extend his contract or stay with us,” said director of sport Felipe Minambres.

“Usually 99 per cent of players end up where they are determined to go. Each of us have chosen our path, he will take his and we’ll stay on ours.”
Lobotka is not even in the squad to start pre-season training, so Napoli are in pole position to pounce.
