It is reported that Roma have offered Alessandro Florenzi a new contract worth €3m-per-season, but it may not be enough.
The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to English Premier League club Chelsea, who are likely to appoint Maurizio Sarri as their new Coach despite a lengthy ongoing saga.
He has only one year remaining on his current contract at the Stadio Olimpico, meaning he could leave for nothing next summer.
And La Repubblica reports that the Giallorossi are intent on keeping hold of their full-back, who has spent his entire career to date with the club.
They have offered Florenzi new terms of €3m-per-season, bonuses included.
However, the Italian newspaper casts doubt on whether that will be enough to convince the Italy international to put pen-to-paper.
Florenzi’s demands are said to be wages of €3.5m-per-season, not including add-ons.
