Cesc Fabregas confirmed Antonio Conte’s exit from Chelsea via Twitter, as Maurizio Sarri’s appointment is imminent.

There were reports today that the Coach had left Cobham for the last time, just days into pre-season training for what would’ve been his third year at the club.

“Thank you Mister for another Premier League title and FA Cup,” wrote midfielder Fabregas.

Fabregas and Conte didn’t always get along, as implied in the tweet, but he used the Italian term Mister for his manager.

Earlier today, he had also ‘liked’ a tweet from a supporter celebrating Conte’s departure.
